My Favorite Daddy: A Dark Daddy Romance (Dark Daddies Book 6) Page 5
I stretch my legs out and close my eyes. I keep picturing Brady’s hands on my body, his mouth between my legs, pleasure blooming all over my skin. He drove me crazy, made me come harder than I’ve ever come in my life, and he did it with just his tongue and his fingers.
I’ve never had sex, but I have fooled around with guys. Brady knew what he was doing in a way that I’ve never experienced before. Men my age, they try hard, but they don’t know what they’re doing.
Brady clearly knows. And I get the feeling that I only tasted a tiny bit of what he’s capable of.
The thought sends more shivers down my spine.
Zoe’s right. I know she’s right, I just hate to admit it. I need to suck it up and just deal with Brady for a single week. I can do that, one week, and I’ll get paid so much that I won’t have to worry ever again. It’s so simple, and yet I keep rebelling against the idea.
He owns me. He’s my Daddy now.
The thought repels and excites me in equal measures.
My phone starts ringing, pulling me from my thoughts. I pull it from my bag and answer it.
“Hello?”
“Hello, little Aria.”
I bite my lip. It’s Brady. He’s the only one that calls me that.
“Hello, Mr. Price,” I say.
He laughs lightly. “You stormed off earlier. Are you okay?”
“I’m fine. I guess I just… I was surprised, is all.”
“I have that effect on women.”
I groan. “Seriously?”
“Really. I mean, how many times have you gotten off just from a man’s tongue on your pussy? Probably not often.”
“Okay, wow. We’ve been talking for, like, ten seconds.”
“Should I pretend like your legs weren’t wrapped around my head earlier? That you weren’t moaning Daddy, Daddy, over and over? That I didn’t taste your pussy as you came?”
“Okay, okay, I get it.” My cheeks are bright red. I don’t know why, since what he’s saying is true, it’s just… hearing it out loud makes me want it all over again.
He laughs, clearly enjoying my discomfort. “Look, I know earlier might have freaked you out a little bit. So why don’t you take the rest of today and most of tomorrow off?”
I hesitate. “Really?”
“Really. Consider it part of deal, time toward the one week. But tomorrow night, you’re all mine.”
I take a breath and let it out. “I can do that.”
“Good. Get yourself together. Tomorrow afternoon, you need to go dress shopping.”
“Dress… shopping?”
“That’s right. I’m taking you somewhere important. It’s formal, so you’ll need something nice.”
“Where are you taking me?” I press, although I already know.
“I’ll have a card messengered over today. Feel free to put whatever you want on it.”
“A… card?” I feel so overwhelmed all over again.
“Credit card in my name. Use it however you want, but make sure you buy a nice dress. Spend a lot of money. Make sure it’s more than you’ve ever spent.”
“Are you serious?”
He laughs again. “I told you, I’m your Daddy this week, and I’m taking care of you. Really, Aria. Make sure you spend some absurd amount of money. It’ll be fun, trust me.”
I bite my lip. “I don’t know.”
“Please. I’m filthy rich and can’t spend all this stupid money on my own. Help me out for a week.”
“This wasn’t part of the contract.”
“No, it wasn’t. This is just because I want to.” He pauses for a second and I hear something muffled on his end of the phone. “I have to go. The messenger will be over soon. Please, have fun with it. Buy a bunch of expensive things. I’ll be disappointed if you spend less than fifty grand over the next couple days.”
“Fifty grand?” I ask, eyes wide.
“See you soon, little Aria.”
And with that, he hangs up the phone.
I stare at it and slowly start to laugh.
It bubbles up from deep inside of me and overtakes me. It’s like a wave, running over my skin.
This is so stupid. This is insane.
He wants me to spend fifty grand in a day. I don’t even know if that’s possible!
Money never really did much for me. I live a simple life with simple clothes. I don’t have fancy things. My phones are all used, I’ve had the same laptop since my freshman year of college, and I rarely splurge on anything. All my money goes to student loans and rent and food.
Money doesn’t impress me. All my clients have money and sometimes they try to shower me with gifts.
This, though… this is something else. It’s absurd. It’s stupid.
And it’s a little exciting.
I hate to admit that part of me is excited to spend some money. I’ve lived a simple life for so long, there’s a part of me that wants to go a little nuts here. And the idea of buying a pretty, expensive dress is just so appealing.
I hate to admit it, but that’s the truth.
I’m still skeptical. I’m still not sure that I want to be in this.
But maybe there will be perks I hadn’t thought about. Maybe it won’t be so bad.
I mean, he’s winning some kind of charity award, right? Brady can’t be that bad.
I just have to learn to protect myself for the next week and hope that I don’t get sucked too far into his world.
6
Brady
I hate this sort of thing.
Rich people in fancy clothes, expensive champagne, big ballroom, all that bullshit. I never, ever go to shit like this. I’ve made it a point to avoid these gala events at all costs.
But my PR guy, Jeremy, basically blackmailed me into it. I mean, they’re giving me an award for donating a stupid amount of money to charities all over the city, he said. If I skipped it, I’d look like the biggest bastard in the world.
He had a point, and so here I am. Uncomfortable, annoyed, but present.
When I first learned about this dinner, I figured I’d stay for as long as I needed to then duck out the back. But now, I think I have a reason to prolong this experience, at least a little bit.
Aria tilts her head and smiles at me. I think I’ve been staring at her ever since I picked her up at her apartment.
Her dress is a beige color, low neckline, long skirt with a slit up the front. The fabric is nearly see-through along the skirt with lines of slightly shimmering patterns running up it. The bust is equally translucent, showing off just enough of her breasts to be enticing without being inappropriate.
She looks fucking stunning. I’m willing to bet she spent that fifty grand or more, which makes me smile. I could tell she wasn’t comfortable with spending my money, but I’m glad she did.
And I’m glad she did it on that fucking dress.
“What?” she asks.
“You look incredible. Have I said that yet?”
“No.” Her smile is the most genuine smile in this room. “You really think so? I wasn’t sure about this dress. It’s a little…”
“It’s perfect,” I say. I step closer to her, sliding my hand onto the small of her back. “Everyone’s going to ignore me with you on my arm.”
She blushes and tilts her head toward me, giving me this impish little smile. “You think so, Daddy?”
My heart skips a beat. “I know so.”
We move through the room and we do get more than a few looks, although I’m not sure if it’s because she looks incredible, or if it’s because I’m the guy getting the damn award.
“Oh, thank god!” Jeremy appears through the crowd. He’s young, tan, with a ton of stubble, and pitch black hair. “I almost thought you’d skip.” He cocks his head at Aria and takes half a step back. “Damn. Who’s this?”
“Jeremy, this is Aria. She’s my date for tonight.”
“I see that.” He holds out a hand. “Charmed. Lucky girl.”
“Uh, h
i, nice to meet you.” She gives me a confused smile.
“Jeremy is my public relations guys,” I say.
“More like fucking chief fireman,” he says. “All I do is put out fires. Seriously, for a guy that owns a marketing consulting firm, he really doesn’t know how to market himself.”
“Jeremy thinks I care about marketing myself,” I say to Aria.
“Don’t you?” she asks. “Seems like you do.” She touches the lapel of my jacket. “How much did this suit cost?”
I grin and Jeremy barks a laugh. “Oh my god, Brady. She’s perfect. Seriously, how did you convince her to come with you?”
“I’m paying her five million dollars,” I say absently, grinning at Aria.
Jeremy laughs again. “Of course you are. How else would you get a smart, gorgeous woman like this?” He sighs and looks at the crowd. “Good turnout. You’d better play nice.”
“I don’t plan on playing at all.”
Jeremy gives me a look. “Really. There are some important people in here.”
“I don’t care.”
“Yes, you do. Look, go find your table, get settled. And be nice.”
“He will be,” Aria says before I can grumble some more. “I’ll make sure of it.”
“Oh, catch me, I’m in love.” Jeremy pretends to swoon. “Okay, good luck, you two.” He stalks off through the crowd, greeting a pair of old people wearing more diamonds than a jewelry store.
“He’s… interesting,” Aria says.
“I know. I like him.”
“Me too.”
I hold out my arm and she takes it. “Come on. Let’s get this over with.”
We walk through the crowd. I greet a few people I recognize, shake a few hands I don’t, and we eventually make it up to our table. It’s right up front, of course, which is annoying. I hate being where people can spot me.
We settle in and slowly the crowd starts to enter the room. I tell Aria about the people that walk past, like the old couple in diamonds that Jeremy approached.
“Farmers,” I tell her. “Very rich farmers.”
“Come on,” she says, giving me a look.
“Really. He’s a cattle farmer. Granted, he’s the biggest cattle farmer in all of New York.”
She rolls her eyes. “You’re ridiculous.”
I point at a short man wearing a tuxedo with tails. “That’s one of the most powerful insurance adjusters around.”
“Sounds impressive.”
I point out another couple. “They buy and sell plastic cups.”
“Really? Very exciting.”
“They’re the cup couple of Philadelphia.”
She grins at me as I keep going. Each new group of people gets some wild or stupid descriptions. Some of them I actually know but most of them are total strangers. I treat them all equally.
Eventually, the whole thing starts off. A woman with blonde hair pulled back into a tight bun starts by talking about the role of charity in an advanced society, blah blah blah, and I’m basically falling asleep by the time she’s finished. Aria has to step on my foot to keep me awake.
“Whiskey,” I say to the waiter that stops near our table. I put my hand on the guy’s arm before he can leave. “Make it a double.”
Aria rolls her eyes, but she’s smiling.
Another speaker comes up and talks about her charity, something to do with children and cancer or whatever. I make a mental note to write her a big, fat check when I get a chance. I hate kids with cancer. Kids shouldn’t get fucking cancer.
After she’s done, my whiskey appears. I take a big sip and lean toward Aria. “I’m bored already,” I whisper.
She glares at me. “Grow up.”
“Come on. This sucks. Let’s leave.”
Her eyes go wide. “We can’t. We’re… right in the middle of things.”
“After this guy’s done talking, people are gonna clap. We’ll slip out.”
“No way, Brady,” she says.
I just grin and nod at her.
The next guy that speaks drones on for what feels like a half hour at least. I drink most of my whiskey by the time he finishes. I swear, it’s like being teleported somewhere. One second, I’m sitting at the table while the guy talks about whatever, and the next everyone’s suddenly clapping.
I grin at Aria. She shakes her head.
I get up, half crouching, and walk off to the side. Aria hesitates but follows me. I’m sure half the room watches us leave, and I bet Jeremy is having a fucking stroke, but I couldn’t care less.
We slip out a side aisle and into a back hallway. Waiters bustle past and I think we’re near the kitchen.
“We have to go back in,” Aria says. She grabs my hand. “Come on, you idiot.”
I hold her hand tight and tug her away. “This looks more fun,” I say.
She groans as I lead her back to the kitchen. The staff is running around, cursing, cooking, arguing. It’s disorganized chaos.
“I worked in a kitchen when I was younger,” I say to her as we walk through the madness. “I loved it, actually.”
“Really?”
“Sure. Worked line prep. Learned some of my best curses from those duck-fucking dick garblers.”
She laughs at that, unable to help herself. I snag a glass of champagne from a tray as it passes and the guy holding it glares at me. One of the chefs yells at us to get out, and we hurry through the group toward the back.
“Come on,” I say, turning a corner. “I bet we can find something more interesting up here.”
“We should go back in,” she says. “Really, this is dumb.”
I drink half the champagne and hand her the other half. She hesitates but throws it back.
I grin at her as she shrugs and puts the glass down on a counter. “No use wasting it,” she says.
I lead her around a corner toward a few large doors. I pull one open at random and we stumble inside. It’s dark at first until I find a power switch.
It’s a storage room. Shelves and racks full of dry goods line the walls, with some prep tables in the middle. I’m guessing this is where the hotel normally does pre-prep in the mornings, getting ready for big lunch and dinner rushes.
“What are we doing here?” she asks. “It’s not exactly exciting.”
“Oh, sure it is.” I turn back to her, my hands suddenly on her hips.
She bites her lip. “Come on, Brady.”
I turn her toward a table and lift her up. She gasps a little as I put her down and kiss her neck.
“This is much better than sitting in that stuffy room surrounded by all those rich bastards.”
“You’re a rich bastard, you know,” she says, fingers running through my hair.
“So they tell me.”
I kiss her softly, mouth opening, tongue against tongue. I pull back slightly, looking into her sparkling eyes.
“Say it,” I whisper.
“Daddy.” This time, she says the word right away, a hint of a smile on her lips.
“You’re starting to like it, aren’t you?”
“I’m starting to play along,” she concedes.
“Good enough.”
I kiss her again, spreading her legs. She wraps her arms around my neck as my right hand moves up her inner thigh, feeling her smooth skin under my palm.
I stop as I get to her panties. Her pussy is already wet, her panties dripping under my fingers. I slip them deftly aside and tease her clit as her kiss gets tighter, more intense.
“Shit,” she whispers. “Why do you have to do this?”
“I told you. I wanted something more interesting.”
“And you think doing—ah, shit—this is going to be better?”
“Don’t you?” I smirk and bite her lower lip. I press my fingers inside, sliding along the top of her pussy, before pulling back out to tease her clit.
She groans. “You really are a bastard.”
“No, I don’t think so.”
She kisses me harde
r, tongue in my mouth. I can tell she’s losing control. She works so hard to be proper, to keep herself under control at all times, but fucking hell. I love it when she lets her guard slip.
Getting through her defenses is now my new favorite fucking thing in the world.
I force her legs open wider. My fingers keep working her clit, sliding down to fuck her pussy, sliding back up to tease. She groans and pushes herself tight against me.
I can’t take much more. I push her back, forcing her to support herself on her hands as I drop down between her legs.
“Brady,” she gasps as my tongue finds her clit.
“Ah, ah,” I say. “What did you call me?”
“Daddy,” she groans.
“That’s my girl.” I lick her pussy, pushing my fingers deep inside. I want to get her off so badly it almost hurts. She needs this, I can tell.
I lick and suck her clit as my fingers slide in and out. She gasps and groans, hips rolling. I wonder if the cooks can hear, but I don’t care. Doesn’t matter. Let them walk in.
Right now, the only thing in the world is Aria. Her delicious pussy on my tongue, her body rolling and writhing against my touch. I’m so hard I could fuck her right this instant, but I know she’s not ready for that.
I need to show her just how good it can feel. I have to give her a taste. And then, when she’s dripping wet and begging for it, then I’ll finally fuck her tight little cunt.
Now though, I work her hard. I lick her, sucking, teasing, fingers sliding in and out. I feel her grab onto my hair with one hand as her hips roll faster and faster.
I can tell she’s close, even faster than the first time. She must’ve been thinking about this since yesterday. I lick her faster, tongue and lips, sucking that clit, fucking her with my fingers nice and deep and fast.
And she groans out my name. “Daddy,” she gasps. “Oh, shit, Brady. Daddy.” Her whole body tenses and I know she’s exploding on the inside, coming hard as she twitches and moans.
I don’t stop. I keep going, pushing her past her limits, taking her beyond the point of no return. She’s deep in her orgasm as my fingers pump in and out, my tongue working her clit, sucking her faster.
Slowly she finishes, so agonizingly slowly. When she’s done, I lick my fingers clean before kissing her lips softly.
